Selling your internet data
The US Government recently passed a law that lets Internet Service Providers (ISP) to sell your data to anyone they want without your permission. This in my opinion breaks basic privacy. ISPs had to originally ask your permission to sell your data, now they do it for free. Some companies have a opt out fee, where you pay a certain amount of money to "opt out" of them selling your data. This is at its core, a scam. Why should you have ot pay to have someone else sell your data? My stance on this issue is that it breaks privacy in a lot of ways. There are ways around this issue, such as using a VPN. This ensures that your data stays with you. Some services are paid and some are free.
